Synopsis

İnflamasyon ve beslenme durumu, çeşitli fizyolojik süreçleri etkileyen sağlık ve hastalığın kritik belirleyicileridir. Karaciğer tarafından inflamatuar sitokinlere yanıt olarak üretilen ve sistemik inflamasyonun hassas bir belirteci olarak görev yapan bir akut faz reaktanı olan CRP ve beslenme durumu, inflamasyon ve genel sağlığı yansıtan çok işlevli bir protein olan albümin, bir bireyin fizyolojik ve klinik durumu hakkında değerli bilgiler sunar. Son yıllarda C-reaktif proteinin (CRP) albümin düzeylerine oranı olarak hesaplanan CRP/albümin oranı; sistemik inflamasyon, beslenme durumu, sağlık durumu, hastalığın teşhisi, hastalığın ilerlemesi ve tedaviye yanıt konusunda değerli bilgiler sunan, çeşitli tıbbi durumlarda potansiyel prognostik ve prediktif değeri olan, fizyolojik öneme sahip, dikkate değer ve umut verici bir biyobelirteç olarak öne çıkmaktadır. Inflammation and nutritional status are critical determinants of health and disease that affect various physiological processes. CRP, an acute phase reactant produced by the liver in response to inflammatory cytokines and acting as a sensitive marker of systemic inflammation, and albumin, a multifunctional protein reflecting nutritional status, inflammation, and general health, provide valuable information about an individual's physiological and clinical status. In recent years, the CRP/albumin ratio, calculated as the ratio of C-reactive protein (CRP) to albumin levels, a remarkable and promising biomarker of physiological importance, providing valuable information about systemic inflammation, nutritional status, health status, disease diagnosis, disease progression, and response to treatment, and has potential prognostic and predictive value in various medical conditions. The clinical use of the C-reactive protein/albumin ratio provides valuable information about diagnosis, disease pathogenesis, disease activity, prognosis, and response to treatment in various medical conditions.
