Mineral Takviyesi

Synopsis

Herbal medicines and nutritional supplements are commonly used by patients. Food supplements and alternative therapies are utilized by an estimated 60 to 80 percent of patients who have been diagnosed with cancer, and they have been found to be used throughout the entire cancer treatment process. The use of dietary supplements in cancer patients may present risks at all stages of treatment, including surgery, systemic therapy, and radiation therapy.
While there have been some associations between mineral deficiencies and cancer, more substantial evidence is required. Each mineral in mineral supplements may have its own potential for toxicity and side effects.
Therefore, it is important for all dietary supplements to be approved by a medical professional and to be taken in the prescribed doses.
