Posterior Kompozit Rezin Restorasyonlar

Özet

Kompozit rezinler günümüzde en yaygın kullanılan direkt restoratif materyallerdir. Çürümeye karşı koruma amaçlı uygulanan restorasyonlar ile mine seviyesindeki başlangıç çürüklerinden, geniş ve pulpaya yakın çürük lezyonlarının restorasyonuna kadar tüm restorasyonlarda kompozit rezinler kullanılabilmektedir. Estetik, diş dokularına yüksek adezyon, düşük ısı iletkenliği gibi olumlu özellikleri yanında kompozit rezinlerin polimerizasyon büzülmesi ve mikrosızıntı gibi olumsuz özellikleri de bulunmaktadır. 
Uzun ömürlü ve başarılı bir kompozit restorasyon için klinisyenin endikasyondan cilaya kadar tüm aşamalarda dikkatli ve özenli olması önemli bir gerekliliktir. Bu bölümde posterior kompozit rezin restorasyonların klinik uygulamalarında dikkat edilmesi gereken noktalar özet olarak anlatılmıştır.

Composite resins are the most widely used direct restorative materials today. Composite resins can be used in all restorations, from restorations applied for protection against decay and initial caries at the enamel level to the restoration of large and pulp- close caries lesions. In addition to their positive properties such as aesthetics, high adhesion to dental tissues and low thermal conductivity, composite resins also have negative properties such as polymerisation shrinkage and microleakage. 
For a long-lasting and successful composite restoration, it is an important requirement for the clinician to be careful and attentive at all stages from indication to polishing. In this chapter, the points that should be considered in the clinical application of posterior composite resin restorations are summarized.
