Dijital Ölçü Sistemleri ve Ağız İçi Tarayıcılar
Özet
Dental kliniklerde intraoral tarayıcıların kullanımı her geçen gün artmaktadır.
Intraoral scanners are increasingly preferred in dental clinic applications. With advancements in technology, new scanning technologies are being developed, leading to a rise in the number of dental intraoral scanners entering the market. Challenges such as high costs of scanners and difficulties in standardizing and comparing them within the same study necessitate compilation studies.
The aim of this review is to provide information on currently used and newly produced devices, their operational principles, and their accuracy and precision based on existing literature studies. Accordingly, details on production systems of CAD/CAM systems, scanners, operational principles of scanners, features of commonly used scanners in the market, and comparative compilation studies found in the literature regarding their accuracy and precision are presented.
In conclusion, despite not entirely overcoming various anatomical barriers, intraoral scanners are devices that enhance patient comfort, are increasingly used, and with evolving technology, their accuracy in digital impressions continues to improve over time.
