Taburculukta İlaç Yönetimi
Synopsis
Hemşireler pediatri de dahil olmak üzere her alanda güvenli bir taburculuğun gerçekleşmesinde başlıca rol oynamaktadırlar. Taburculuk süreci hastalık hakkında bilgi, ilaç kullanımı, evde uygulanacak tedavi yöntemleri, olası ya da mevcut tedavi yöntemleri, hastalık sırasında gelişebilecek olası belirtiler, yan etkiler, bakıma ilişkin dikkat edilecek hususlar, beslenme, diyet, egzersiz, bakım ekipmanları ve tıbbi cihazların kullanımı gibi birçok eğitim konularının yanı sıra çocuk ve ailesinin doktor kontrollerinde ve acil durumlarda hastaneye nasıl başvuracağı, hangi sağlık profesyonellerinden bilgi ve destek alabileceği gibi konuları kapsamaktadır. Taburculuk süreci çocuğun hastaneye yatışından itibaren başlamaktadır ve bu süreç aile merkezli bakım çerçevesinde ele alınmalıdır.
Taburculuk sürecinde bakım hatalarının önemli ölçüde pediatri alanında olduğu ve bu hataların istenmeyen ilaç olaylarından (ADE-Adverse Drug Events) kaynaklı olduğu bilinmektedir. Bu doğrultuda ‘taburculukta ilaçlar hakkında yazılı bilgi’ gibi önerilerin sunulduğu birçok araştırma ulusal ve uluslararası hasta güvenliği komisyonları tarafından yayınlanmaya devam etmektedir.
Bu bölüm, pediatri hemşirelerinin öncü olduğu taburculuk bakımında etkili bir ilaç yönetiminin taburculuk sürecindeki kritik önemini vurgulamayı amaçlamaktadır.
